Quranic thoughts, interesting reading from my study desk and inspirational quotes

The relation among the surah's of Al-Quran is an interesting subject which has been dealt with many scholars in the past and at present. Let me start with Al-Fatiha in light of my studies.

We ask guidance of Allah in Surat Al-Fatiha and the path of those who are favored in the eyes of Allah and not of those who received this anger and not of those who have gone astray.

Surat Al-Baqarah shows how this Du'a is responded:
It begins by saying:

Alif Lam Meem
This Book, there is no doubt in it. It is a guidance for those who fear Allah.

This Surat begins with the description of the believers and end with them as well. They are the people who are favoured by Allah.

from verse 40 to 140 the story of Bavu Israil is given as an example of those people who because of their disobedience  and defiance, received the wrath of Allah.

In the following Surat Al-Imran the case of the Christians is highlighted and they are the ones who deviated form the right path.

The prophet Ibrahim (a.s) and prophet Muhammed (s.a.w) emerge in Surah Al-Baqarah as examples of Muttaqin (who fear Allah).

And Iblish (Satan) emerges as the example of Kafirun (reject-er of the commandments of Allah).

Surat Al-Fatiha is like a seed form which the entire tree of the Quran has come out. It has 2 great branches (Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Al-Imran).

The prophet (s.a.w) said: These 2 surah's  will come on the day of Judgement like 2 clouds sheltering the person who guards them.
